- The topics include food and drugs legislation; reports on the Territories; trade; returned soldiers; the War Precautions Act; the Inter-State Commission; defence; Public Service administration; recruiting; Federal control of the liquor trade; elections; the Constitution Alteration Act 1906-1919; the Supply Bill; the Naturalization Act 1903-1917; Glynn's account of negotiations between the Liberals and W.M. Hughes in February 1917; the Report of the Royal Commission on Navy and Defence administration; judicial powers; and Cabinet memoranda. There are seven notebooks compiled by Glynn while he was Minister for Home and Territories and a book of newspaper cuttings, as well as loose newspaper cuttings, telegrams and photocopies of Northern Territory memoranda.
- Immediate source of acquisition:
- The Glynn papers were received between 1958 and 1973 from Mrs J. O'Collins, Father G. O'Collins and Mrs J.S. Peters of Melbourne and Mr Aiden McMahon Glynn of Ireland. The marriage proposal from Glynn to Abigal Dynon was presented by Professor Maev O'Collins and Moira Peters in 1996.
