Photograph album. Photographs likely to have belonged to Alfred Walter Campbell. Includes WW1 pictures depicting the embarkation and sailing of the Kyarra for Egypt; the Australian No 2 General Hospital at Mena, Cairo (including of officers serving at the hospital, wounded men from Gallipoli (including from the landing on Anzac Day) and local scenes); and return to Australia on the Borda. All are annotated with details of content. Alfred Campbell was married to Kenneth Mackay's sister Jean, served as a medical officer at the hospital in 1914/15 (organising treatment of nerve injuries and results of mental stress) and was a noted neurologist.

The papers were acquired from the Mackay Family in 2011.
