Map showing outlines of South Africa, Australia and a portion of the coast of the Australian Antarctic Territory, and the voyages of the British Australian (and) New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (BANZARE) during a research expedition into Antarctica between 1929 and 1931, involving two voyages over consecutive Austral summers. Top right corner of map has been cut out. On sheet 43 x 65 cm.
Immediate source of acquisition:
The maps were part of the collection presented to the Library by Mrs Hurley in 1963, which primarily comprised several thousand of Frank Hurley's photographs.
