Correspondence of the Colonial Office filmed by the Australian Joint Copying Project relating to New Zealand. The Series includes despatches and their enclosures, letters, reports and other papers from Governors, associations, including New Zealand Company, Canterbury Association, Otago Association and Emigration and Land Board, and individuals, and letters from government agencies in Great Britain.
Originally bound, the volumes are arranged chronologically and each volume has a contents list, or précis of each letter giving name of correspondent, date of letter and subject matter.
