Selective material filmed by the Australian Joint Copying Project relates to: Correspondence and memoranda on Dardanelles operations, and Gallipoli campaign, and other memoranda on international conferences prepared for Cabinet, correspondence, papers and diaries of visits to Australia and New Zealand 1934-1935 to discuss defence policy.

The Australian Joint Copying Project filmed only selected extracts from pieces 20, 26, 32, 38, 39, 43, 51 and 53. The remaining items were filmed in their entirety.
