Exhibits of Masters of Chancery. The documents in this series consist of private papers of all kinds, delivered into the court of Chancery by plaintiffs and defendants as evidence in their suits.
The AJCP selectively copied Pieces 37 and 63. Including the Papers of Thomas Jamiesonn, concerning his trading activities with George Bass, William Kent and Charles Bishop, and the agent at Norfolk Island, M. Hayes. Also included are letters from Bass, some about trading in the Pacific and exploration of Bass Strait. Piece 63 contains log of ship Harvey from Australia to London, 1827-1828.
