ICIP identification notice: This file contains Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) of Australian First Nations peoples. The ICIP comes in the form of pictures of cultural dances and artworks. Including artworks by Regina Wilson, Lily Morton Akemarr, Gayluma Maymuru, Smauel Namunjdja, Alick Tipoti, Danie Mellor, Lorna Jin-Gubarrangunyia, Richard Bell and Wukun Wanambi. Scope and contents: Some of the speeches included in this file were presented at the SNAICC [Secretariat of National Aboriginal and Islander Child Care] Anniversary Dinner, International Women's Day Luncheon held by the Community Public Sector Union (Victoria Branch), International Women's Day Dinner held by the Australian Education Union, a Cocktail Party for the Refugee Advocacy Service of South Australia, A Just Australia (Adelaide Town Hall), Inaugural Meeting for the Foundation of the South Australian Council for Civil Liberties and the NATSICC [National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholic Council] National Assembly. Also included is a speech that O'Donoghue gave at the CRCAH [Cooperative Research Centre for Aboriginal Health] Convocation as she stepped down from the position of Chairperson, handing over to Pat Anderson. The speeches cover a variety of topics including the overall socio-economic conditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and treatment of refugees by the Australian federal government.
The file includes a copy of the booklet Final Report - Chapel, Pilgrim Walk and Associated Facilities published by the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture. As well as a pamphlet for the 20th Telstra National Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Art Award (16 August - 7 December 2003).
