Scope and contents: Some of the speeches included in this file were presented at the International Women's Day event for the Ceduna District Health Services, Young Investigator Award ceremony held by the University of Adelaide, Launch of CDAMS [Committee of Deans of Australian Medical Schools] Indigenous Health Curriculum Framework, United Nations Day held at St Peters Anglican Church (South Australia), the 8th Biennial International Paediatric Child Health Nurses Conference, a Respect for Women seminar held by the Hawke Centre, University of South Australia and The Pacific Region Indigenous Doctors Congress. The speeches cover a variety of topics including health services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, the abolishment of ATSIC [Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission] and equality for women.
