Details of: Sea sickness; sighting other ships, porpoises; he preaches to the convicts; sailors not allowed to get drunk when crossing the line; typical day; has fever; pass St. Paul's Island; delight at sighting New Holland; anchoring at Port Jackson - description of orange and lemon trees and of Sydney Town 'the country is a beautiful one ... the natives are seen walking the streets quite familiar with the inhabitants'; the other clergy 'devoted to the reformation of the colonists', 'O My God ... let thy Kingdom come even to the outcasts of mankind in New South Wales!'.
