A small number of letters dating from the early years of the Fijian Mission, as well as three letters written in 1897. Most of the letters were written by C. Mathieu (Rewa). The other correspondents include Joseph-François Rouillaux, Jean-Victor Favier (Ovalau), Jean de Marzan (Solevu) and Sister Marie Agnes (Wairiki). The recipients are not named.
