1. Journal of a voyage from Liverpool to Melbourne May-July 1854 on the Red Jacket. It is a day-to-day record of the voyage, noting events and commenting on passengers and crew as well as weather conditions and distance travelled. The journal also contains notes referring to land sales around Melbourne, costs of buildings, business transactions (especially with George Squiers) and rough sketches of the campsites on the goldfields around Castlemaine, Victoria.
