Collection comprises research notes, drafts, correspondence, 16 mm films, negatives, slides, and over 3,000 photographs relating to Keith Meggs' books titled 'Australian-built aircraft and the industry' (volume 1-3). The publications contain information on every aircraft type proposed, designed, or manufactured in Australia, from 1884 to the mid-1980s. Keith Meggs published several authoritative works on Australian aviation and is internationally recognised for his contributions to aviation and its recorded history.
The collection comprises handwritten drafts and typescripts of Stockfeld's unpublished memoirs Cream Puffs and Cow Pats and Grandpa's Wooden Dentures; related papers including publishing correspondence, notes and research material; notes and exercises from writing classes; personal correspondence; and financial papers.
The additions contain correspondence with Arndt's father, and papers relating to his research activities. There are working papers, conference papers and manuscripts of books. In articular, there are papers relating to Arndt's various activities at the Australian National University, such as the Australia-Japan Research Centre, the Indonesian Project and its activities, the Bulletin of Indonesian economic studies and the 'Survey of recent developments' in Indonesia, the ASEAN-Australia Joint Research Project, student projects, university meetings and Arndt's study leave and overseas trips.
