This collection comprises papers relating to DeVrye's time on the Police Board of NSW 1993-1996. This includes reports, correspondence, the Police Board submission to Royal Commission into the NSW Police Service, and the Royal Commission Interim Report. Board papers retained by DeVrye are selective, not comprehensive.
The collection comprises weekly letters of Michael McKernan to his parents and brothers, whilst a Jesuit Novice and Scholastic that cover daily life and thoughts. The collection also includes index cards relating to McKernan's research on the Church and WWI as well as 26 cassette tapes of interviews with Jugiong locals used for Michael McKernan's publication "The valley : a story from the heart of the land".
This collection comprises photocopies of original material in the possession of Lady Tait. Further material belonging to Lady Tait was photocopied and has been included in the Library's J.C. Williamson (MS 5783), as it relates to the early years of operation of J.C. Williamson Theatres Ltd.

The collection documents many aspects of Zubrzycki's long career as an academic with the Australian National University and his participation in a number of organisations and government bodies. These include the Australian Ethnic Affairs Council, the Australian Immigration Advisory Council, the National Multicultural Advisory Council, Australian Aid to Poland, the World Health Organisation Fourth World Project, the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences at the Vatican and the National Museum of Australia.
The papers of MS 4955 include a considerable amount of correspondence about literary, business and personal matters, drafts of poems, drafts of reviews, index cards, press cuttings, sketches, material about writers' festivals, details of seminars, papers relating to Moscow trefoil and Seven Russian poets, papers relating to Francis Webb and information about poetry competitions. Major correspondents are Margaret Horder, Christina Stead, Francis Webb, Nan McDonald, Geoffrey Bingham, Claire O'Brien, Elizabeth Marsh, Denise Levertov, Ray Mathew, Alan Tregaskis, Lady Casey, Patrick White, David Marr, David Campbell, R.D.
