This collection comprises cards, letters of condolence, and tributes sent to Elizabeth (Liz) Morrison and the Mulvaney family following the death of prominent archaeologist John Mulvaney (1925-2016), along with printouts of obituaries, condolences, and tribute emails. It includes an obituary for John Mulvaney by Peter Bellwood, published in the Australian Academy of the Humanities Annual Report 2016–17, and a letter to Morrison and the Mulvaney family with tributes and reminiscences from Bernie (Edmund Bernard) Joyce, Emeritus Professor in Geology at the University of Melbourne. Additionally, the collection includes letters from John Mulvaney to Elizabeth Morrison spanning 1996 to 2005, greeting cards from John and Jean Mulvaney, and condolence letters following his passing, as well as orders of service celebrating his life.
