Content Summary: This collection comprises material relating to the policy, activities and structure of the Anti-Nuclear and Anti-Uranium Collective (Friends of the Earth, Australia). It includes minute books, correspondence, submissions to government bodies, pamphlets, periodicals/newsletters and other unique manuscript material, as well as audio-visual material (photographs, film, and sound) and an extensive collection of posters and rally banners. Significant subjects and campaigns covered in this archive include: Roxby Downs Blockade, Maralinga, Jabiluka, as well as continual efforts to fight against the establishment of nuclear power stations within Australia, and against a national/international waste dump. Australia's First Nations Australians (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders) voices have played an integral part in this movement and are strongly represented throughout this collection.
