An appreciation of the subject of Self-sufficiency in the Manufacturing Industry (1950-Secret) Box 28
Another volume "These notes were part of the official papers I was taking with me to England on the visit made there with the Hon. R. G. Menzies... January 24th to June 6th 1941. My papers were left on the "Flying Boat Clyde" for safety at Lisbon, Portugal. A hurricane turned the "Clyde" upside down during the night, and my papers rested on the mud of the Tagus river for about 3 weeks. A diver eventually recovered them and they came on to London by Air arriving very muddy and abominably malodorous. The "Clyde" was a complete loss - John Storey" Box 39
