They deal in particular with Joan Kingsley-Strack's strong interest in Aboriginal culture and welfare and her involvement in the Committee for Aboriginal Citizenship, the Oxford Group and other organisations. Julie Dyson (AM) is an arts advocate working across several national and international organisations, including as past Chair of the National Advocates for Arts Education and a Global Executive member of the World Dance Alliance. She is the former national director of Ausdance and was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2007. This collection has been developed by Julie Dyson during the course of her career working in performing arts focusing on dance. It contains personal papers, study notes, teaching materials, dance and ballet programs, clippings, board papers and an artist journal.
