Abstract Or Scope
The collection comprises correspondence (1971-98) between Adamson and other poets and literary figures, and several hundred drafts of poems and completed poems. There are newspaper cuttings of reviews both by Adamson and about his books of poetry, and individual poems that have been published in newspapers. The collection also includes drafts of articles and transcripts of interviews with Adamson. Some police records are present in the collection. There are a number of photographs, many of which were taken by Juno Gemes.

The MS Acc09.193 consignment comprises typescripts of articles, seminars and conference papers, addresses and other writings; correspondence with colleagues and friends (often with copies of their papers) and with some institutions (mainly trusts); biographical material (mainly in relation to academic positions and publications); copies of references prepared for colleagues and (former) students; some student and early teaching notes; and a small quantity of material relating to Stretton's long association with the South Australian Housing Trust.

Personal archive of Garry Woodard documenting his diplomatic and academic career in Australian-Asian relations (1950s-1990s), including personal and business correspondence; personal reminiscences, a memoir, notes and correspondence relating to Sir Arthur Tange; and research notes and papers recording Australian participation in the Vietnam and Iraq Wars. The material also documents major figures in Australian international relations such as HV Evatt, RG Casey, Garfield Barwick, Paul Hasluck, Gough Whitlam and other important Department of Foreign Affairs personalities, together with papers relating to Australian foreign policy in China, Japan, Burma and the ANZUS alliance.

Included are copies of many of his newspaper articles; correspondence; research material on the history of The Canberra Times; papers and emphemera from official overseas visits; research for and drafts of obituaries on a number of notable public figures; research files for subjects of oral history interviews; papers relating to his employment with Liberal politician, Wal Fife; and a CD of an interview of Farqhuarson recorded in 2003.
