The Murray Library is a closed collection within the library of the Natural History Museum. It was donated to the Museum in 1921 by the Murray Family following the death of the oceanographer Sir John Murray (1841-1914). The collection comprised zoological and oceanographic works, manuscripts, drawings, correspondence, soundings and ocean-bottom deposits.
