Includes photographs of Antarctica probably by G.W. Rayner who was a zoologist researching whales and whaling around the Falkland Islands for the Discovery Committee, Colonial Office, London. The deep-sea oceanographical vessel Discovery II visited Antarctica for research purposes several times in the 1930s.
