Includes two scraps of fabric, presumably from an aircraft, one with a bullet hole; pencil sketch captioned 'A moment of a narrow escape over Berchem...Friday the 11th of Sept 1914 when a British naval (Bristol type) tractor biplane piloted by Captain Courtney (observer Flight-Lieut C F Beevor) was nearly brought down...'; illustration in pen and ink by K Kreyer of the assassination of a baron; manuscript account apparently by Beevor; two letters, both to Baron de Vriere, one from George Ashton; photograph one of one man, the other of a group of men in front of a plane labelled 'Commandant Chambors'; and published photograph of four French aviators.
