Papers relating to Hawke's book Noonkanbah: whose land, whose law (Fremantle Arts Centre Press, 1989). Includes correspondence, transcripts of interviews, photocopies of research material and source documents, newscuttings, drafts, proofs and photographs.
Arrangement:

The collection was packed and listed by Stephen Hawke. Hawke's list has formed the basis for this finding aid. Hawke's arrangement has been retained, however the material originally labelled 'BOX ONE' is now in Boxes 1-2; the material from 'BOX TWO' is now in Boxes 2-4; the material from 'BOX THREE' is in Boxes 4-6; the material from 'BOX FOUR' is in Boxes 7-9; the material from 'BOX FIVE' is in Boxes 9-11 and Folio Box 1.
