- Content Summary:
- A collection of manuscripts relating to Mauritius. It formed part of a large collection of books, pamphlets, manuscripts, maps and drawings which was purchased by the National Library in 1968 from the widow of Andre de Chapuiset le Merle of Mauritius. The items are arranged as far as possible in chronological order. Note that items 198-209 were found in amongst the published component in Asian Collections, and were transferred to this collection in May 2001.
