Content Summary:
The records constitute a proportion of the total archive of this organisation and document general administrative activities. Included within the archive are administrative files, minutes and agenda papers of annual meetings, files relating to a number of commissions of the Council, correspondence, conference papers, press cuttings and publications, as well as the papers of D'Arcy Wood, past President, former Vice-President and Council member of the Australian Council of Churches.
Immediate Source of Acquisition:

These records were transferred to the Library from the Clarence Street premises of the Australian Council of Churches in November 1986. Further papers were added in 1992, 1996 and 2015.
