Content Summary:

The papers include Mr. Corbett's correspondence with journalists and others in a variety of subjects, including his "Canberra Commentary" for the Argus, his feature writing for the Australian Wool Bureau, and his freelance writing for television. There are also drafts, with related correspondence, of many articles on Australian subjects prepared by Mr. Corbett.

There are press cuttings on a miscellany of subjects, together with cuttings of articles and paragraphs written by Mr. Corbett. The printed material in the collection includes Australian Wool Bureau publications, various travel brochures and circulars, some political pamphlets, and single copies of several newspapers and periodicals. Their association with other material in the collection points to authorship by Corbett.

The papers were presented to the Library in 1964 by Mrs. Carolyn Corbett.
