Aim and Basis of the Movements

The aim of the Movement is:

To lead them to commit themselves to Him and His way of life

To help them to grow into His likeness and in the understanding of the Christian faith

To unite them in the fellowship if His Church and in the devotion of their whole lives to the service of the Kingdom of God

The Basis of the Movement is:

Faith in the living God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - who makes

Himself known to us through the Scriptures and the life of the Church

The Australian Student Christian Movement welcomes into its fellowship of worship, study and service all students teachers and others who seek God and the truth by which to live

The membership of the Movement shall be open to those who have decided to follow Christ and to learn His way of life"
