Content Summary:
Ringback binder containing final thesis as submitted. Also two letters from AH McDonald 1946 and Beryll Rawson 1979 concerning possible publication. Slipped in the folder was an offprint of an L.F. Fitzhardinge article published in J. Roman Studies 1951, on naval inscriptions held in the Nicholson Museum. The offprint has not been retained here.
Immediate source of acquisition:
The original consignment was received by the Library from L. F. Fitzhardinge in 1975. One folder was added to the collection in 1998 via Pauline Fanning. The second consignment was received by the Library from G. F. Fitzhardinge in 2022.
