The papers include published and unpublished writings and related correspondence with printers and publishers; papers, correspondence and press cuttings concerning the establishment of Toc H in Australia; papers (1923-1937) relating to Church of England parish work in the Diocese of Melbourne.

The family papers include correspondence of Edward Elton together with MSS of some plays in which he appeared, and private correspondence and documents of Rev. Hayes.
