Content Summary:
The collection comprises minute books, correspondence, reports, financial papers, subject files, cuttings, programs and flyers. The minute books date from the formation of the organisation in 1928, while most of the other papers date from the period 1960-97. Correspondents include Sir Bernard Heinze, Reg Marsh and Philip Woods.
Immediate Source of Acquisition:

The collection was donated to the Library by Philip Woods, on behalf of the Federated Music Clubs of Australia, in 2004. A further addition was received in 2012.

Arrangement:

In general, the records have been kept in the arrangement used by the Secretaries of the organisation. Some loose papers have been placed in new files.
