LADY GWEDOLEN CECIL to SCOTT, Hatfield, Hertsfordshire, 22 June 1934

Component identifier:
Item 39
Content Summary:
Refers to Scott's inquiry about her father's goldfields diary, and agrees that it would be a 'good thing to put that absurd mining story to rest if it can be done'.
Immediate source of acquisition:
The papers of Sir Ernest and Lady Scott, together with a small number of books, were presented to the Library in 1958 by Miss Diana Dyason, Lady Scott's niece. They had been examined by Lady Scott in 1956, the year before her death, and many items carry her explanatory notes.
