Content Summary:
This collection comprises personal, academic and political papers of former Liberal Party Senator for the state of Queensland and Associate Professor of International Relations, Russell Trood and includes: correspondence, speeches, photographs, early personal papers, documents relating to the Liberal Party in Queensland, the Australia Institute of International Affairs, United Nations Association of Australia and papers relating to the period Trood was the Prime Minister's Special Envoy for Eastern Europe, the Balkans and the Caucasus. Also included are interviews with various diplomats conducted by Trood for his PhD on Australia's involvement in the Vietnam War, publications, audio visual material and memorabilia.
