Content Summary:
The Library Association of Australia's Board of Examiners existed to make recommendations to the Association's General Council on all matters affecting examination and qualification in librarianship. The Board also administered the Association's Registration Examination, set standards for schools of librarianship and provided accreditation to those schools meeting the standards. Bryan served as Chairman of the Board of Examiners 1964-1974. The series comprises the administrative material gathered by Bryan as a member of the Board.
Immediate source of acquisition:
The papers were donated by Harrison Bryan to the Library on 6 December 1996, with a further donation made on 8 July 2002.
