Content Summary:
This collection comprises money and treasury notes from Levuka and Noumea, together with notes on early Fijian paper currency read before the Australian Numismatic Society by P.J. Marks (undated). There is also paper money from Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) and a letter from W. S. Weigh Son enclosing I.O.U.'s for various amounts.
Biographical Note:

Percy Marks was founder and President of the Australian Jewish Historical Society. He died in 1941.
