- Biographical Note:

Philip D. Roberts, 1938 a Canadian-born poet, printer and musician, was born in 1938 and came to Australia in 1968. He was senior lecturer in English at the University of Sydney during the 1970s and early 1980s and ran his own printing press, Island Press.

The original consignment of 12 cm was purchased in 1976 and appears to have been incorporated in later additions of 1979, 1981, 1983, 1984 and 1986.
