- Biographical Note:

Federal politician. Liberal Senator for Victoria from 1974 until his death in 1986. Missen was involved in various committees, including Deputy Chairman Parliamentary Joint Committee monitoring the National Crime Authority 1984 and Chairman Senate Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs 1976-1983.
