The papers comprise correspondence, reviews, drafts, notes and research material including articles, theses, reports and other papers relating to Breckwoldt's publications Wildlife in the home paddock (1983) and A very elegant animal: the dingo (1988) and the report he edited for the National Trust of Australia, 'A heritage study of Hartley, Kanimbla and Megalong Valleys'.
Biographical Note:

Roland Breckwoldt was born on 8 February 1944 at Tatura, Victoria. He was educated at Macquarie Boys High School (Rydalmere, NSW), Hawkesbury Agricultural College (where he graduated with a Diploma of Agriculture in 1965 and a Diploma of Rural Extension in 1970) and the University of New England, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1977.
