Biographical / Historical:

Michael Howell Blakemore (born 1928) is an Australian actor, writer and director with a long career in the United Kingdom. Predominately known for his theatre work both as an actor and director, he has appeared in roles in School, Twelfth Night, Love's Labour's Lost, Strip the Willow and A time to laugh. His directorial work includes A Day in the Life of Egg, The National Health, Tyger, The Cherry Orchard, Noises Off, Copenhagen, Kiss Me Kate and Blithe Spirit.
