Content Summary:
This letter is written by Mei Zhi, in reply to Andrew's letter forwarding photocopied materials which included an article in "Dousou" [抖擞], a progressive Hong Kong journal, by Shi Xing [施行], entitled "Sketch of an Idealist - the young Hu Feng". Mei Zhi states that Hu Feng did not like the poetry of Guo Moruo [郭沫若], and Hu was certainly not influenced by Guo's work. Mei states that Hu had consistently acknowledged that this earliest influences were the free-form verses of Feng Xuefeng [冯学峰] and other Lakeside Society poets. Text in Chinese.
