The Alcoholism Foundation of Victoria was established in 1958, and Barry was a foundation patron. He corresponded with L. Ball, M.J. Benjamin and B. Luby concerning its constitution and other administrative matters.
Also included in the series is Legal aspects of alcoholism, an address Barry gave in April 1959 to a postgraduate course in psychiatry; printed material of the 'Revive the half-man' programme (1960-1961), the Foundation's annual reports (1961-1966), its submission to the Royal Commission on Liquor Laws in 1964, J.M. Duggan's report in 1966 to the Chief Secretary on the rehabilitation of alcoholics and the inaugural Leonard Ball Oration in 1968 by E. Cunningham Dax.
