- This collection comprises recordings from 79 microcassettes relating to the life of pastoralist JJ Leahy created by Gerard Leahy as research for his several books. Titles include 'Horses, cars and aircraft : JJ Leahy pastoral property pioneer' and 'Shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in two generations'. The microcassettes include interviews with Keith and Paul Leahy speaking about their father JJ Leahy (1999-2007) and provide first hand recollections of an important rural figure and of a pastoral industry that is rapidly changing from holdings by individuals to corporate ownership.
