Material in the Australian performing arts programs and ephemera (PROMPT) collection consists of programs and related items of Glenn Lorimer including various concert programs of his performances.

Glenn Lorimer is an Australian opera singer. He is the fourth generation of an Australian showman family, having grown up touring with Lorimer Bros Dodgems, Rides and Tent Shows. He has spent over 40 years working in the music industry, in various capacities. His singing career began during the 1970s and 1980s when he performed as a solo wedding, party and hotel piano/keyboard/vocalist. During the 1980s he toured with rock bands before studying under Dr. Don Smith OBE, and becoming an opera singer. He moved to the United Kingdom and has performed internationally, including as a Principal Tenor with Pavilion Opera, Scottish National Opera, Glyndebourne, London Opera, Frankfurt Opera at Covent Garden and various Australian opera companies.
