As Deputy Co-ordinator of Rehabilitation, Longmuir's duties included the rehabilitation of non-war caused disabilities and advising the Departments of Repatriation and Labour and National Service on rehabilitation. The series includes correspondence and two reports: 'The rehabilitation and resettlement of disabled persons' (1946) by L.C. Wilcher and 'Report on the provision in Australia of a national scheme for the rehabilitation of physically handicapped persons' (1947) by Douglas Galbraith (1 folder).
