On 14 October 2023, Australians voted in a referendum about whether to change the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing a body called the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice. This collection documents polling places, signage, volunteers and voters in various places in Bundaberg, Queensland, including Bundaberg Central polling place, Bundaberg East State School, Bundaberg North State School, and Bundaberg North polling place. Also included is an image of Gooreng Gooreng man Robert dhurwain McLellan during a smoking ceremony on the morning of the vote.
