Later correspondence kept by Del Re, also covering a wide range of subject matter and associations. Of special interest is correspondence from Gordon Ludwig, Switzerland dated 28 April 1974. Written in Italian, the letter has attached two photographs; one of a woman and the other of a grave [?]. More photographs from a conference in Japan are contained in a letter from Madoka Kanai of the Histographical Institute, University of Tokyo. Also included is a letter from the Asiatic Society of Japan asking Del Re for his memoirs on Japan and a letter from Lyle dated 1 January 1974 from the USA
