- Content Summary:
- This collection of photographs documents the effects of the first major Black Summer bushfire on K'gari (Fraser Island) which burned from 14 October - 22 December. When these photos were captured, the fire had burned more than 82'000ha of land. Though onsite firefighters were supported by 17 aircraft the fire was only brought under control and extinguished with the help of a rain event.
