Content Summary:
On 14 October 2023, Australians voted in a referendum about whether to change the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing a body called the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice. This collection documents the "Canberra Walk for Yes" event which started near the National Library of Australia and headed along Commonwealth Avenue to Parliament House. The collection documents the walk attendees and speakers including Ngunnawal Elder Aunty Violet Sheridan and Bundjalung man and community leader Joe Hedger.
