Many of the letters comment on Ball's lectures and radio talks or seek to arrange speaking engagements. There is a letter dated 4 May 1937 from the Prime Minister, J.A. Lyons, acknowledging a submission on foreign policy issues which Ball and five others had suggested could be discussed at the forthcoming Imperial Conference.
