Cecilia May Gibbs MBE (17 January 1877 – 27 November 1969) was an Australian children's author, illustrator, and cartoonist. She is best known for her gumnut babies (also known as "bush babies" or "bush fairies"), and the book Snugglepot and Cuddlepie. Her famous residence Nutcote was lived in by her for 44 years. May Gibbs' Nutcote is now a house museum located in Neutral Bay, Sydney. It has a New South Wales heritage listing and was opened to the public in 1994. It is managed by a Board on behalf of Nutcote Trust Pty Ltd, and is a venue for events relating to May Gibbs and her works.

General ephemera collections contain documents of everyday life generally covering publications of fewer than five pages. These include: postcards, illustrations, advertising material, samples of merchandise, posters, stickers and tickets.
