- 'Voyage de Liverpool a Melbourne', an anonymous journal written in French, was kept on board the ship Great Britain on a voyage to Melbourne in 1863. The journal was found among the papers of the Malet de Rougemont family. Pages 1-56 describe the voyage around Africa, while pages 57-86 describe Melbourne, the surrounding countryside, Ballarat and gold-mining.
