Content Summary:
Collection comprises a diary in seven volumes, primarily written continuously by Felton Mathew from 3 August 1829-December 1835. Volume 1. Journal kept by Mathew during voyage to Australia per Morley 3 August-3 December 1829, in same volume as diary of Felton Mathew recording his surveying work in the Hawkesbury and Hunter District from 1 January 1830 to 13 September 1832. Also includes loose diary entries dated December 1829 to December 1835. (1 volume); Five volumes (numbered 2 to 6), 20 February, 1833-3 May 1834, containing diary of Mrs Felton (Sarah) Mathew, 20 February 1833- 3 May 1834; [Volume 7]. Stray leaves from the journal of a wanderer in Australia, 2 December 1829-19 April 1830 (1 volume)
